Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Textile Print Designer with a strong passion for sustainable design practices. The ideal candidate will conceptualize and develop original textile prints that reflect RNGV’s aesthetic and environmental values, combining artistry with eco-conscious innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop original, trend-forward textile prints for various product categories including kidswear and lifestyle apparel.
2. Create repeat patterns, placement prints, and engineered designs using sustainable storytelling.
3. Collaborate with the fashion design team to align prints with seasonal collections.
4. Ensure that designs are Azo-free dye-friendly and adaptable for eco-friendly production techniques.
5. Research trends, color palettes, and eco-print techniques that align with RNGV’s ethos.
6. Prepare accurate tech packs, colorways, and print specs for production.
7. Liaise with vendors and printers to ensure quality, sustainability, and color accuracy.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Textile Design, Surface Design, or a related field.
2. 2–4 years of experience in textile or surface design (sustainability-focused experience preferred).
3. Strong portfolio showcasing original print development and repeat patterns.
4. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CAD software.
5. Understanding of natural dye compatibility and sustainable print methods.
6. Creative thinking with attention to detail, trend-awareness, and color theory.
7. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
